Miriam Gagne

Miriam Gagne

Manager

A lifelong resident of New Mexico, Miriam is passionate about her home state and committed to its values and history. She earned her graduate and undergraduate degrees from The University of New Mexico.

After enjoying successful careers in marketing and in the pharmaceutical industry, Miriam discovered that her true calling was in the funeral profession and she has not regretted this decision a day since. Her passion for funeral service is rooted in years of attending funerals and simply wondering if she could make the funeral experience better. She finds the close bonds made while connecting to the families she serves to be highly rewarding.

Miriam is especially creative and adept in creating very personal and unique services that allow families to come away from the experience feeling they are honoring a loved one in ways as unique as their life. Her simple, genuine and empathetic desire to listen and her attention to detail is enough to comfort families in immeasurable ways.

Miriam is very excited to be a part of and give back to the Northern New Mexico community where she has distant roots. She has volunteered with the Women’s Empowerment Self Defense, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and American Heart association.

Miriam is especially passionate about Avista for offering alternatives to families that have long deserved fair pricing and exceptional care. Stop in any time to meet her and feel free to use her as a resource for information.

Miriam considers it an honor and a privilege when a family entrusts their loved one to her care and she always strives to make the family her priority throughout the process.
